Dr. Buechel is a graduate of Rutgers University, with a degree in Biology. He received his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1988. After receiving his graduate degree in dentistry, he taught Radiology at New England Medical Center prior to his orthodontic residency which he completed in 1991, earning his orthodontic degree from Columbia University in New York.

Dr. Buechel has been practicing his orthodontic specialty since 1991, while maintaining active memberships in American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Society and the South Shore District of the Massachusetts Dental Society.
